Welcome Aboard!
The Discovery Bay Club Yacht is an association of ‘yawties’ – owners and crew who enjoy occasional ‘fun and friendly’ regattas out of Discovery Bay on Lantau Island, Hong Kong.
Since our first regatta in September 1999, the DBYC has hosted regular inshore races and cruises, which have been sponsored by local businesses, restaurants and marina clubs. In this way, the prizes are many and varied, entry fees are kept low, and the beer is free!
Our aims are twofold: to draw local sailors together in friendly and social sailing events, and to introduce beginners to the fun of yacht racing.
