The following opinions are part of a new aspect of the DBYC training dedicated to our fellow members who are beginners or who feel they have not had enough experience and would like advice. More will follow on different topics. You are welcome to write and express your opinions or even ask for advise on other topics and make this an interactive part of the website.

Sounds like a good idea, let’s make use of the forums.

We need to come up with some “customer” related information about our training. e.g. post a training shedule—ok, I just see that this is already online, as well as fares and a little description of what the club offers. Also the disclaimber could be posted on the website. I have two friends who are keen on lerning how to sail, but so far I can’t tell them where, when and what exactly we offer. It would be easy just to redirect them to our club website.
Also, the course information could be a fixed part of the website. Only the dates need to be adjusted for the future…

Cheers, JAN
