DBYC Events: Middle Island Regatta 2007

Entries are invited for the DBYC Middle Island Regatta, scheduled for Saturday, 27th and Sunday, 28th October 2007.

The Regatta is open to all DBYC and ABC members, and members of any HKSF-affiliated club.

The event will consist of two races from Discovery Bay, round Lamma Island, to ABC Middle Island for a Mediterranean feast (lamb-spit, giant salmon and much more) and prize-giving. Breakfast on Sunday followed by a pursuit race return to DB for overall prize-giving and BBQ, sponsored by the DB Marina Club.

	2000	prize-giving Race 1

Sun, 28 Oct	0830	breakfast at Middle Island ($50 pp)
	0900	skippers briefing
	1000	first start Race 2 off MI
	1600	finish off DB
	1600	BBQ on DB headland, sponsored by the DBMC
	1700	prize-giving Race 2 and overall

Berthing gratis for participating boats, on a space-available basis, at the DB Marina Club and ABC Middle Island. Entry fee is $300 per boat for the entire event, or $200 per race.

Please submit entries by 1700 hrs on Wednesday, 24th October 2007. Late entries may be accepted, subject to payment of a late entry fee.
