The fourth annual Soko Islands Rally will be held on 28/29th November 2009.
Please note the date change, due injuries to Event Organiser, Richard Winter in a recent cycling accident. The format will be much as in previous years, as follows:
Sat, 28 Nov
1000 onwards - Sokos Pursuit '09, with staggered starts from DB marina (details below)
1400 approx - race finish
1600 - race cut-off
1700 - BBQ fires lit (bring your own F&B)
1800 - sundowners on beach (of course)
8 till late - party under the stars with live music, songs, bad behaviour, etc...
Sun, 29 Nov
1100 - Guided tour of South Soko; old refugee camp, ornamental lake, secret beach, jungle walk...
After lunch - departures back to HKG
Notes:
The event is open to all boats, including junks, speedboats, live-aboards, etc
