All arrangements for next Saturday’s DBYC Stanley Cruise are now in place, and you’ll be glad to know that the forecast is for sunshine, good viz and winds SSW F4 - perfect!
As per last year’s very successful Stanley Cruise (report here), the sail over to Stanley will be in the form of a pursuit-race, with first start from DB at 0900 hrs. Then the Boathouse will lay on a spread for us, with open bar, appetisers, mains, desserts, coffee, etc for only $250 pp all in ($100 for kids). All served family-style on long tables on the Boathouse balconies overlooking the bay. The aim is to finish (together) in Stanley Bay at 1200 and be scoffing lunch by 1300 hrs. Maritime Museum / shopping after lunch, then casual sail home.
